Bintu has stayed in this camp for over 6 years. This is the 3rd camp she is living in after Boko Haram insurgents attacked their home in Ngarannam in Mafa LGA, Borno.
They trekked for 3 days to escape, without food or water. Sadly, two of her children died of thirst. They didn’t make it to the camp.
She lives in a tiny hut with her 2 children and husband. She is expecting a third one. But the good news is, when the baby arrives in two months time, it will be in a proper house😊
The people return to their community which is now rebuilt to restart their lives again.
