Corruption- the canker worm
that eats through the conscience of men and women
The common factor that humanity shares
As old as humanity and as same
As the cries of babies everywhere
Corruption-
You, who have made black and white the same,
Young and old,
Women and men
Corruption that has destroyed the moral fibre of the society
Everyone talks about you
questions and condemns you,
Yet you live and move and have your being in us!
Corruption!
Shall we elevate you to second nature?
Nay!
We have the answer
We have the will power
We have the solution
We share in a corrupt humanity but
We have the power to CHANGE
And recreate ourselves
To unbind ourselves from the grip of Corruption!
The shameless and thoughtless
Our fibres have been eaten
But the bones of our inner strength toughens
The canker worm submits to the salt of CHANGE.
