SPEAK IT INTO EXISTENCE

Reading Time: < 1 minute

A year ago, I joined DW News as West Africa Correspondent and it has been quite a journey

It was one day in 2021 I casually made the prayer that I wanted my next job to be an international role. I wasn’t thinking of resigning from my current job at the time, yet I made that prayer but it also meant I wasn’t searching for any job

So when DW Headhunter reached out to me, it came as a huge surprise and in less than 6 weeks they wanted me indeed for the job. I didn’t believe it even when I got the confirmation call from Berlin and my contract

It felt like a pleasant dream and even more beautiful when it hit me that it was actual reality.

I have grown in one year and still growing
The training opportunities, the travels 😂(which I love so much by the way), the great colleagues and work culture, the impactful stories told and many more to be told. So much to be thankful for indeed.

So, for anyone dreaming, remember to speak it to existence. God hears, needless to mention too, but your hard work pays.

In 2023, May that which you desire so badly find you with so much ease and seamlessly to your utter amazement 🥂

NB: In another pressing news, remember to go collect your PVC if you haven’t, inugo?
