48 hours later, Niger‘s coup is moving fast.
Today, we have divergent opinions- those pro-democracy and those pro-coup and military.
We even hear calls from the people against the French.
There seem to be deeper issues.
What do Nigeriens want?
Are they entirely pro-democracy?
There seem to be some sort of agitation among Francophone West Africa and their former colonial master, France. In fact, today we see Nigeriens showing support to Russia instead including waving their flags at the demonstrations.
No one knows exactly who is now in charge in Niger but clearly, the coup is now pointing to deeper issues?
