Reading Time: < 1 minute

Nigerian government lifts the ban on Twitter after seven months. While on the ban,
Nigeria lost over 400 billion naira an equivalence of over $900M from June 2021 to December 2021.

Well, I was on the streets of Lagos today to feel the peoples’ pulse about the lifting of the ban and here are a few things I heard

1. They lifted the ban because of 2023 elections so politicians could use the platform through influencers to campaign

2. I didn’t notice there was a ban, thanks to VPN- Virtual Private Network

3. I really don’t care about it

4. It’s a good thing for business owners so they can advertise more

5.Thank God is back so we can have an avenue to vent and for comic relief. “ Nigeria problem plenty”(quote verbatim)

But what do you think?
