Niger junta threatens to respond to ‘aggression.’

Two days to Sunday’s deadline and the threat to use force. Will that hold?
ECOWAS defence staff on the other hand have not received any marching order.
But what has remained consistent is the Junta’s position. Again it warns ECOWAS that any attempt of aggression against Niger will be met by an immediate and unannounced response from the Nigerien Defence and Security forces.
Does Bazoum also trust completely in the strength of ECOWAS? He publishes on WP today openly calling for US interventions.
