my path

Reading Time: 2 minutes

MY PATH

The Day dawned on me

and I came into existence

I began to live

and I noticed I have a path

marked out for me

I have a path I must tread on-

my way, my road

the route for my life’s journey

On my path

I have made many discoveries,

there lies a lot of flowers

on both sides

greeneries, trees for shade.

I have halted many times

to look behind and trek on;

I have made many ”crossings”

I have encountered

animals wild and tame,

on the path I have been drenched

by the rains of joys

I have heard the clapping hands of happiness

I have listened to

and sung the sweet songs of laughter,

experienced the scorching sun of pain

I have known

the anxieties of walking on rough paths,

stepping on stones and tired out;

yet I have discovered

I am launching into the journeys

more and more;

my vigour burns vigorously

treading on my path

joyously

Noticing the rainbows,

the bright moon

the smooth lane

the fresh air of newness

the singing birds that accompany

in the quiet and serene

forest road

noticing the flowing streams

My path

peculiar and unique to me,

my road

the way to the Maker

I have known

I have a path

my path with the Known Unknown

incomparable with another’s.

A long, long path

I have found water when thirsty

I have felt dryness and harshness

I have experienced

a gentle soothing breeze

a cool air of relief

from the rivers of peace

comfort and calm

My path with creation’s Creator,

my way to the Friendly Supreme

when I am tired out

She whispers:

”take a rest under the Shade”

when it is time to move on

She encourages:

“come on, look ahead”

Time for the crossings comes

and She stretches forth

hands of love saying

“hold on to me, cross over”

on my lonely walk

on the scary lonely way

Womb of Love reminds me

I Am with you

My path is not all straight

and not all crooked and cracked

but a mixture of both lanes

highs and lows, slows and fasts

the Miracle is this!

it is my path with Love

the path to my Abba

the Track of my Life!
