Memories of travelling to Chibok

Reading Time: < 1 minute
Today, I am grateful to the one man who kept us safe in his house the night we spent in Chibok.
He was extremely kind to us and refused to accept any gift from us. Fed Ifeanyichukwu Godwin – my incredible cameraman and I with local delicacies and mangoes from his compound.
Baba passed on
I light a candle for him
I believe he is resting now

NB: This isn’t Chibok. This is our pick-up point before heading out to Chibok.
