Domesticate The CEDAW

In 1985, Nigeria ratified the UN Convention on Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW).
But here we are on the 8th of March protesting what is clearly a discrimination against women.

That convention is not domesticated yet in Nigeria sadly.

Though the lawmakers rescinded on three of the bills and are to sit “in the coming weeks for a reconsideration”, it is left to seem how much of practical change that brings.
