Attacks on Education

In August when Aljazeera English interviewed me on the kidnap that happened in Niger state, part of what Aljazeera’s Senior anchor, Sohail, asked me was the impact of these abductions on education and sadly, the obvious answer is a direct impact which means there would be less educated young people from these affected part in the coming years.

Well today Unicef has released even more worrying report.

When the education system is under attack, a very crucial fabric of a nation’s growth and development is clearly under attack. This is sad to see.
